A risk rating built on evidence, not opinion
CompliScore is the Complitas risk rating for a building, from Very Low to Very High. It rolls fire, gas, structural, building services and access checks into one rating, counts missing evidence as risk, and takes the worst signal across categories rather than an average. Every score traces back to the checks and certificates behind it.
How the score is built
- Checked area by area. Fire safety, gas safety, structure and fabric, building services, access and egress, DSEAR and EWS1 status, each broken into discrete checks such as “8 of 8 compliant · 0 evidence outstanding”.
- Hazards scored on a recognised matrix. Likelihood × Severity, the same logic behind HHSRS, scored 1–9 and banded Low, Medium or High.
- Evidence gaps count as risk. 78 checks done with 13 pieces of evidence outstanding scores lower than a clean record, even with no severe hazards.
- Worst-case logic. CompliScore takes the worst signal across categories, not an average.
Question × Answer + Evidence = CompliScore
One rating, built the same way, every time.
One building, two risk ratings
A gas utility emailed a managing agent confirming five blocks as “Low risk”. Inside that summary: a duplicated record and a five-year-old inspection with defects never signed off. CompliScore rated the block High.
